Preparation courses for immigration application

(Spouse visa, Settlement and Citizenship)

ESOL Citizenship classes are specifically designed for people with a lower level of English.  We tailor make their classes as per the initial assessment taken, prior to them starting their class. This is one of the requirements imposed by The Home Office whilst applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK or to become a British Citizen.

Becoming a British citizen or deciding to settle permanently in this country is an important event in your life.  Therefore, you need to have the knowledge of Life in the UK and English Language. There are 2 ways to demonstrate this.

You can only be exempted from:

  • The English exam if you have a Degree from a recognised university
  • The Life in the UK if you are above 65 years of age

If you need an English preparation before your exam, you are at the right place.  A Free Initial Assessment will determine your level and we will guide you till you pass this exam.  This exam is only carried by Trinity College as required by the Home Office.

Prove your knowledge of English for citizenship and settling application to UK

We also provide exam preparation courses specially designed for Trinity B1 SELT (GESE GRADE 5) exam.  This is to determine your readiness for taking a UKVI B1 Secure English Language Test. It is the only Speaking and Listening exam to fulfil the knowledge of English Language requirement. To take this exam, you must be 18 or over and applying for British Citizenship or settlement.

You can choose to join the group classes or opt for individual lessons.  Our qualified and experienced English Language teachers will support you throughout and prepare you to pass your B1 exam.  Our current success rate for this exam is 98%.  Mock test is provided every week to test if you are ready for the exam.
